About The Forum

United in experience, service, and renewed hope for grassroots empowerment and national development.

Who We Are

A Nationwide Forum of Former Legislative Councillors

The Renewed Hope Ex-Councillors Forum (RHECF) is a voluntary, non-governmental civic association comprising former elected and appointed Local Government Councillors across the 774 Local Government Areas and 36 States plus the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) of Nigeria.

Councillors represent the tier of governance closest to the Nigerian people. Having served directly at the grassroots ward level, our members possess irreplaceable institutional memory, community rapport, and deep legislative insights into the everyday realities of ordinary citizens.

"The forum supports the administration and leadership of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and champions citizen-centric grassroots initiatives aligned with the Renewed Hope Agenda for national prosperity."
